very carefully and calmy try to use a stencil (however its spelled) this is always best because otherwise you might mess up dont use your hands because hands can be very shaky and you dont wanna be shaking when you do it because that can ruin you painting forever
one mistake that people commonly make (hehe that rhymed) LET IT SIT OUTSIDE AFTER PAINTING IT i cannont stress this enough the moisture from the air outside can bring out the color and give you the true effect that your wanting its gonna look a whole lot better
Iron Hands are chaos space marines painted Silver, Gold, Yellow and Black. There is no specialized armor for them, but you could give them mechanical limbs, as is their tradition.
You can paint about anything. Depending on the temperature the iron is getting will say what type of paint you need. (there is special paint for engines) if the iron is going to get extremely hot, you might not find a sutable paint.
when we apply paint on iron articles moist air cannot attack iron and prevent rusting
Physical, no chemical reaction is occuring, your just covering the Iron with paint, the paint doesn't react with the iron.

Paint can protect iron from rusting, especially if it is the right kind of paint - you would not want to use a water based acrylic paint, since the water in the paint would promote rusting, rather than preventing it.
Paint or enamel can protect iron from rusting.
