The best way is to get a manual specific to your model at the parts store, which will outline this and all other doable repairs step by step. Your car is pretty efficient, and should require plugs about only every 50k miles, plug wires about every 12-25k depending upon conditions, anything that passes as a rotor/cap in the ignition system, if applicable, when the wires are changed, and air and fuel filters every 6-12k miles, minimum.

Intervals are approximate, please consult your manual. There are also a few electro or electro-mech devices, O2 sensors, etc. that have simple tests to confirm operation of, and may improve a tune-up to replace.

You can also just ask the parts counter guy what you might need, or hand him a part to test; and he'll also have a code reader that you can use for free, which may help to diagnose engine issues, reset dashboard indicator lights ("check engine"), etc. It is his job to sell you stuff, and they are your best source here; you may have to shop around a little for the guy you click with--and following them around as they change to different parts stores is common.
