Most producers won't take an unsolicited pitch. It's all about who you know. The one's who do, will require you to sign a waiver. Just remember, you can't copyright an idea, so unless your concept is brought together and displayed in a manner that is totally unique, and never been done before, they could likely "copy" it, leave you out of the equation, and you'd have no recourse. For an unknown, pitching a reality show is EXTREMELY difficult. On top of that, pitching a competitive reality show - like "Survivor" or "Amazing Race" - is THE most difficult of ALL Reality show genres to sell. Ask yourself...why do they need me to do this show? If your answer is simply "because it's my idea"...then forget about it. You need to bring more to the table than just the idea.
