~A Clarinet is a single reed instrument which means that you need 1 reed

-Reed- a thin piece of wood that vibrates to make noise

~To hold it you put your right thumb under a piece of metal that sticks out of the bottom middle piece

~You put your mouth on the mouth piece and blow into it. Then, you put your fingers on the wholes or press down buttons to make noise

*** make sure that you are sitting at the edge of your seat and you are sitting up straight

~There are several parts

From top to bottom they are:

- mouth piece

-barrel

-2 middle pieces

-bell
