∙ 15y agoyes, but only if you die in certain battles. if you choose "im not giving up" mickey comes and you have to use a reaction command to heal sora.

∙ 13y agoYou have to complete Sora's part of the story first. After Sora's story is completed, you'll unlock Riku's story. His story is called "Reverse/Rebirth".

Riku is only playable towards the end of Kingdom Hearts II, for a short period of time. During the final boss battle against Xemnas, Sora is captured and Riku must stop Xemnas from destroying him. It's only a brief sequence and is nothing permanent.
