You have to shuffle the cards and seperate them and put them into the different catagories and shuffle the catagories seperate and pick one card from each pile WITHOUT LOOKING and put them into the confidencial envelope. Then you pick a player and their card. All of the rest of the cards you shuffle and pass them out to each player. you give each player 4-5 cards pending on how many people you are playing with and in the pool room on the board you need to put the confidential envelope on the pool and under the envelope you need to put the extra cards. Find your color on the board and place your peice their and roll the dice and how many numbers is on the dice is how many spaces your alowed to move if you land on a "?" then you take one of the other cards, which should be faced down and do what the card says. if the card has a picture of a clock you put that card where there is a space for them and when you get 12 of the clock cards the game is over for whoever pulls the 12th clock card. You cant let anyone see the cards you have in your deck. When someone goes into a room they are obligated to guess the weopen, killer and room the murderer was in but you have to guess the room you are in when you are guessing. You have to cross off the ones you already have (of the cards and those are obviously not the ones in the confidential envelope. The objective of the game is to try too guess who did the murder with what and what room and once you know you have it ( only three spaces left uncovereed on you sheet is when you look into the evelope.) When someone guesses one of the cards that you have you have to show them it ( make sure other players arent looking) But you can only show them one card. Hopefully this is helpful! took forever to type!
