Take a shower. Clean pubic hair will attach easier to the wax, not to mention it's polite to be clean down there when you go in for a wax. And take ibuprofen and/or any painkillers you have before you go! It HURTS! (But it's definitely worth the pain)
If you are afraid of it hurting, try a breathing technique. Before the wax is pulled off, take a deep breath and when it's ripped off, breath out quickly. It works.
