You don't. Take it to a shop.
How do I put a wheel bearing on with out a wheel bearing press
Yes, You need access to a shop press to change the wheel bearing.
to change a front wheel bearing remove macpherson strut and press out bearings with a press, replace with press.
No, a press is required.
Wheel bearing are what allow wheels to spin smoothing on an axle. A broken wheel bearing can lead to fatal car accidents. To replace a wheel bearing on a Volvo s80 remove the wheel hub and have the bearing pressed out. Press the new bearing into the wheel hub to ensure a safe install.
A wheel bearing is pressed in to the hub so that it is able to safely operate. To replace a bearing on a Chevy Impala remove the hub from the car and take the unit to a machinist. Have the press out the old bearing and press in the new one.
The front wheel bearings are a sealed bearing. You will have to remove the hub from the spindle, remove the lock ring (aka C clip), and press out the bearing. Installation is in reverse order but with a new bearing. YOU WILL NEED A SHOP PRESS TO REMOVE THE BEARING AND THE BEARING RACES.
Unless you have access to a press or bearing removal tools this is not the job for at home. The bearing is pressed into the hub. You need to remove the spindle, press out the old and press in the new.
you need to press out the bearing inside the hub assembly.
If by stud you mean wheel stud you have to remove the bearing and have a shop take it out or rent a press and press it out yourself because wheel studs are pressed onto the wheel bearing.
I would assume that the bearing will be similar to my Master, the wheel bearings are right sods, you will need a big press but before the press will be able to push the bearing out you will need to cut out the inner chase, no really even with a BIG press they wont shift, but when the center chase is removed (cutter required) the bearing will come free
I just replaced a wheel bearing in my, 03 protege 5 it was $60 for the part and $60 for the mechanic to press it in.
