How do you prevent someone from remotely accessing your computer?

By enabling firewall on you computer it stops network threat and other servers from connecting to your computer. Antivirus software is also important this doesnt make your computer faster but it can prevent and stop mallicious programs and viruses from accessing you files and folders.

∙ 12y agoUse passwords, and change them regularly - especially if there's more than one person who has access to your computer. Each individual user shouldn't be able to access another users personal files (though the may use the same programs)

∙ 11y agoIf they are using another profile on your computer make sure it is not set to administrator. If so take that off and make sure all downloads take admin password. So they have to have the password you set for that. But if they are using your profile then you can set it to where you have to have a password to download on yours too.
