How do you prevent your hamster from hibernating?
Hamsters only hibernate in the wild.
you know when your hamster is dead win they don't move or don't do anything with you.You know when your hamster is hibernating when is doesn't wake up in 6 months never annoy them when they are because they might get agressive .
It could be hibernating.
Hamsters don't hibernate -.-
their sick, their dead, their hibernating, or their mad.
The only hamsters that hibernate are Russian hamsters
If my hamster is breathing but dont move when i poke him and he barried himself under hay is he hibernating?
answer me why wont my hamster move
hamsters don't hibernate!!!!!!
he will probably be hibernating so just leave him
It might be hibernating but I would talk to a vet about that!
I don't think food is the matter of them hibernating. You should just feed them regular hamster food. Make sure they are warm and not on water or swimming. You can try to hold him to make your hamster to feel warm.
you can tell if a hamster is hibernating because it goes stone cold to conserve energy, only breathes once every 4 minutes. you should put him in a warm room so he gets back to room temperature
Does it ever wake up?? But its still breathing??if it is but it is not waking up then it could be hibernating Where do you place your hamster's cage?? it it is too cold?? then they are hibernating..
Yes....Did your hamster die or something? It's asleep of course it breaths.
if a hamster is hibernating(this counts for all hamsterss not just dwarfs), it will stay in its bed for ages and wont wanna come out. gently hold it in your hands and see if you can encourage it to start being active! (i just made this up but it is proberly right!)
First, see if its breathing. If it it, that means hes sleeping, hibernating, or could be hurt/paralyzed. If he is not, I'm so sorry, but your hamster may be dead. I'm a hamster lover too.
I am sorry to say that hamsters do not hibernate (unless it is in a climate under 40degrees Fahrenheit witch then it will go into a temporary hibernating state) you should make sure its dead or take it to the vet
It's probably pseudo-hibernating, it's completely normal.
A hamster's hibernating signs are: 1.Your hamster takes most of it's food to it's bed 2.Your hamster sleeps day and night 3.In summer they don't sleep as much as they do in the winter time
well since hamsters dont hibernate.... srry. Hamsters do hibernate. While hibernating they will be in deep sleep and they will not be stiff. Hamsters start hibernating if the temperature is below 60ºF . To awake a hamster, add more bedding so they can go under and keep warm, or you can out them in both of your hands to keep warm, or you can raise the temperature 5 degrees every 6 or 8 hours until… Read More
Don't let the hamster out of it's cage. To a cat, a hamster is prey. A food source.
It may be that he has gone into hibernation, I have had this before with my hamster. I was advised to warm him up and to have water there for him. If you think he may be hibernating check out: http://ww.hamsterific.com/HamsterUniversity/HamsterHibernation.html
Is my hamster hibernating it is cold but floppy. It looks like it is lifeless but tha'ts what hamster's are supposed to look like when they are hibernating. Its paws are curled up and so is its body.?
It's probably not dead. It is maybe sleeping for awhile. I mean hamsters have to sleep to you know.
Don't worry if you think your hamster is dead, many have confused death with hibernation. You can tell if the hamster is hibernating when: 1. Its body temperature had dropped (Its cold) 2. Its rigid and stiff looking 3. Very slightly the whiskers on the hamster will move. The hamster will still have to breathe in its hibernation state. This happens because the hamster goes through a winter numbness. Hamsters like temperatures around 65 F… Read More
Your hamster is stiff and cold but you still feel a faint heart beat you think he is hibernating but you r not sure?
they hibernate up to three days see what happens after that
People don't really know, but to wake up your hamster from hibernating is easy. You just put the cage in a warm room.
Becuase it is nervous and or cold My hamstyer died 12 hours after he showed sign it might be hibernating or just sick so if you asked thisquestion be aware
Its very likely that it could be. Hamsters often appear dead when they are hibernating. So you might want to leave it a few days.
I would call a hibernating animal a hibernating animal, a sleeping animal, a trufflenose or a hibrinamil.
if your hamster starts to lay about to much then i would suggest to take your hamster to the vet.i have dealt with this problem before because my best friends hamster recently died.what happened first was that her hamster frenchie started to lay down alot and she did not notice this.another thing to prevent your hamster from dying is keep the cage high above dogs and cats.they will knock the cage over and put your… Read More
That is the correct spelling of "hibernating" (seasonal inactivity).

you should try to wake it up and if it doesn't wake up after about 2 hours then it is dead.or you may be able to feel its heart beat but it is beating very slowly.
the animals stop hibernating until spring
No, bears do not defecate or urinate while hibernating.
Get to an vet with in 24 hours. There's an 50% chance that your hamster will die. Wet tail is an deadly Diease you all hamsters.
While hibernating? The stuff dreams are made of, perhaps?
You prevent your cat from having access to your hamster. Keep your hamster caged at all times unless supervised by an adult. If the cat is aggressive, keep the cat in a seperate room or outside when you take the hamster out.
put padlocks on the cages doors or it will excape and u will not be happy
Neither. Not all animals need to be migratory or hibernating.
Hamsters do not hibernate, BUT they go into a hibernating state. Hamsters are not true hibernaters but they go into a state of winter numbness allowing them to hibernate. It hibernates for about four/five months of winter. Normally hamsters should not hibernate.
:D Everyone knows just poke it and see what happends if it is not moving it is dead or bring it to a vet and see and i dont know if Hamsters do. No not true, it could be in hibernation they don't feel anything when you touch them.
Technically it's not hibernation, but they will slow down their body functions (they become "torpid") if the room temperature of the room they are in gets unusually low, but shouldn't just go into hibernation just because it's the winter season. If your hamster reaches this state, in most cases do not to disturb them. Let them come out of it naturally. Golden hamsters become sluggish at about 14C and torpid at about 10C. Dwarf hamsters… Read More
Most likely the butterfly in your house is dead and not hibernating. They do not tend to hibernate in your home.
only to save power, while preserving the state of your computer. Hibernating is NOT recommended with many SSD's.

No, it does not.
Tenning is hibernating
No, snakes do not normally lay their eggs when hibernating. They normally do so in late summer.
