oil pamp chang toyota camry 2004
In the oil pan
The oil pump is in the oil pan (aka the "sump").
How do you prime the oil pump on a 1986 Toyota truck with 20r/22r engine
No oil pressure
You will have to remove the timing belt and the engine pan. Only after that you will get access to the oil pump.
You have to remove the timing belt and the crankshaft pulley if you want to get access to the oil pump. The oil pump itself is just behind the crankshaft pulley.
You have to remove the timing belt and the engine pan. Only then you will be able to remove the pump.
A 1987 Toyota Camry will take 5 quarts of oil. The type of oil the Camry uses is 10 W 30.
The 2011 Toyota Camry takes SAE 0W20 motor oil. That is the best oil for that vechile.
A 1999 Toyota Camry needs four quarts of oil :-)
Basically the same thing when you replace the timing belt, you will have to remove the engine pan, oil pick up line. And only then you will be able to remove the oil pump.
