The best/easiest way is to pull the ground cable to the battery for 1 minute and re-connect.

Did you also change out the ECU from the donor car? If not, that may be the problem.
Behind the blower motor
Lol my 200 galant doesn't have a distributor so I'm preatty sure urs doesn't your firing order is control by you ecu which gets it's imput on when to fire from the ckps...crankcase position sensor.
A really good and comprehensive source for any vehicle's wiring diagram is a program call Mitchell On Demand. the program is rather expensive but many auto repair shops run this program. I would call around to some local shops and ask if they have this program and if they'd be willing to print you a hard copy. Keep in mind that Mitchell's wiring diagrams are extensive so be specific on what you need a diagram of. I recently needed a really good ECU to PCM diagram to connect a Greddy eManager to a 2000 Galant for a custom turbo project and I found what I needed on the Mitchell On Demand software. Mitsubishi was, of course, no help AT ALL.
Crank angle sensor reads rpm and sends the signal to the ECU (computer) to aid in the calculation of engine rpm, ignition timing, fuel injection and crankshaft position.
