The above answer is incorrect - bodhrán is pronounced bow-raun in the SW and W but bóran in Ulster. Boliaun is not proper spelling in any Gaelic at any rate.
If you mean "bodhrán" (an Irish frame drum) it is pronounced "BOHL-ee-yahnz'"
Boliaun is the Gaelic name for the plant known as regwort or ragweed because of the ragged shape of the leaf.
