After you find the motion-picture device in his luggage, Tesla is arrested and handcuffed in the coal car. But when you return the device to Edison, it shows that Tesla is innocent.
In the baggage car, climb up and go out onto the top of the train. Avoid the tunnel roofs and other obstacles and go right, and enter the coal car. Tesla will send you back to his cabin to find out what happened to his briefcase. Go there and then come back (atop the train as before). When you show him that it has been opened, he tells you what was inside. Go to ask Eric Weisz about how the briefcase was opened, and he will make a slip. Talk to the New York Times newspaper reporter and discover that Weisz is actually the magician Houdini. But when you confront Weisz in his cabin, he dashes across the top of the train. You have to catch him (and rescue him, as it turns out) before you can help Tesla catch the real thief.
