Remove the driveshaft. Remove the shifting linkage. Unbolt the transmission from the Bell housing. Remove the transmission mount bolts. Pull the transmission backwards, to remove it.
unscrew all the bolts and pull it out
You grab the handle and pull it into 4wd.
pull out the transmission
there is no dip stick for a manual transmission .there is a bolt on the side of the trans you have to pull then stick your finger in ..if you can touch it its ok
You have to pull the transmission...sorry
The way I removed my manual trans was to start at the rear end. Pull the rear drive shaft, pull the front drive shaft, un bolt the transfer case from the transmission, support the transmission with a jack, pull the trans cross-member, pull the exhaust y-pipe, un-bolt trans from motor and there you have it.
For most vehicles, you just pull the transmission oil pan.
maybe
If it's a four speed manual, it's an NP435. If it's a five speed manual, it's an M5OD. If it's a four speed automatic, it's either an E4OD or an AODE - you would need to call a dealership with the VIN number and have them pull up the build sheet.
its not screwed in. Just pull it out as hard as you can.
you need to pull the speed senser. then add it to that
You have to remove the transmission to get to the clutch slave cylinder on that truck. You can pull the engine if you want and get to it. YOUR CHOICE.
