Pull the fuse.
On the passenger side of the engine, down almost to the firewall on the side of the transmission. it is a small yellow pull dipstick. also it is mostly covered by various vacuum lines and such
pull the cover off the steering column and there should be a wire connected to the ignition switch. pull it off and put the key in the switch.
FROM THE BOTTOM PULL THE WHOLE SUB FRAM
The have to pull the engine. The valves are on the sides of the block.
Take off bottom radiator hose where hose was connected to engine side there are two bolts they are a bit hard to get to it is better to put the car on a ramp once that's off you will see thermostat pull out and fit new one then put back together job done.
On the sides. It's a H-style or BOXER motor, meaning the pistons go side to side instead of up and down. So look on the sides of the engine (valve covers) and you'll see the wires, pull the wires and the spark plugs are in there.
there is a short somewhere in that circuit, look for broken or frayed wires, you'll have to pull it all apart
It depends on the year of the Impreza.. but it's located towards the back of the trunk of the car. It might be easier for you if you remove the rear seats (5 bolts total) and get to it that way. You'll see a oval shaped piece with a few screws holding it down. Undo those and pull the cap off. The pump is right in there. The info above is for the fuel PUMP. The fuel filter is in the engine bay. I have a '95 Impreza and as far as I know its in the same spot on all Impreza's until about '04 or '05. It is right behind the windshield washer fluid tank. The fuel filter is the black can with rubber fuel lines connecting to it.
No
Pull the dipstick out, put a funnel into the tube where the dipstick was, open transmission fluid container, pour.
No, it is possible to replace them in vehicle.
