How do you pull the clips out to check the cabin air filter in a 1997 2003 Buick Regal or Century?

There are no 'clips'. The filter is on the passenger side under the plastic cover just below the wiper. Remove plastic cover's weatherstrip; Remove plastic cover's center retaining bolt; Remove plastic cover's plastic passenger side 'screw'; Lift out passenger side cover; Filter is in the well. Pull it out. Installation is reverse of removal.
