Pushing a forklift up a ramp is quite unsafe. Much better to place them back to back and connect a strong chain to a secure point on both vehicles and tow it up, with the tow vehicle going forward and the disabled vehicle in reverse.

How would the input force needed to push a wheelchair up a ramp change if you increase the height of the ramp but not its length?

The input force would increase as the height of the ramp increased. It wouldn't matter the distance. Ask me another one.

Does a wheelchair ramp have wheel and axle?

No, a wheelchair ramp is merely an incline that allows someone to push a wheelchair to a higher level instead of having to push it up a flight of stairs.

How can you decrease the effort force needed to push a weight to the top of the ramp?

Simply oil the ramp. Although you may not want to, because you will have to push up on an oily ramp, so you will slide down, and so will the crate. --An AP Physics Student Bored in Study Hall

With a forklift should you drive in reverse when coming down a ramp?

Yes, always reverse down a slope or ramp, keeping the forks and load pointing up hill. Going down a ramp with the load in front could allow the load to slide downwards off the forks.

Is there a Distance in and distance out of an inclined plane?

the input distance is the distance that you push the object up the ramp. this distance allows you to go up how ever far the tallest point of the ramp is. this is the output distance.

Why does it seem easier to push a box up an inclined ramp into the back of a truck rather than just lifting it up into the back of the truck?

You do the same work in both scenarios but the power exerted is different. Since on a ramp the work is done over a longer distance the force you have to exert is decreased. Therefore, it "seems" to be easier to push a box up a ramp rather than lift it up.

What do you have to hold against the ramp to use surf in counter strike?

for you to surf in counter strike you need to make sure when you jump onto the ramp do not hold the W which is the forward button that will make you slip off the ramp. For you to stay on the ramp you need to hold the strike button A or D depending on which side of ramp you on so if you surf on the ./\ left side of the ram you need to hold D to push your buddy against the ramp if you on the right side /\. then you hold A to push up against it.
