Are you referring to the AC compressor? If so, it's probably a job for a professional, as the refrigerant must legally be handled by a licensed shop. FriPilot
A good auto audio shop can fabricate one for you. Or, you might try Crutchfield.com
open the hood look straight down,there will be a valve with a screw on cap that is usually blue it is connected directly to the a/c pump
Take it out and put a new one in!
if you're going through the trouble of dropping the fuel tank, I'd just put a new one in and be done with it

I am trying to change the belt on a 2.2 L, 96 Pontiac Sunfire. There is no adjustment on the alt. or power steering that I can see and I cant see how the tensioners work. Anyone have any ideas.

I have a 1999 Sunfire and I have problems with the theft system too. Sometimes, I am able to pull the fuses and put them back and it'll start. Other times, I have to just sit and wait (for about 8 minutes) and then it'll start.
