Start the car, and then, while holding the clutch in, move the stick all the way to the right as far as it will go and then up. You should now be in reverse. From there it's the same as starting in first gear, just going backwards.
A 1996 camaro has the same DISK brakes as a 2001. It does not have drum brakes.
in the transmission
Sure can
what car can i pull a 5 or 6 speed transmission from to put in my 1968 camaro? I have a 700r4 in it now and would like a Manuel in it. THANKS!!
The backup lights on a 67 Camaro won't work if the bulbs have burned out of the shifter is misaligned. The lights come on automatically when put in reverse and will not function properly unless the shifter triggers the reverse sensor.
Most magazines will say 155. Though this was just a number they put down, the 96-97 Z28 can hit 165 and even alittle bit more.
It can be done but you might have to modify your tranny tunnel to do it.
yes u can
Yes, you can. http://www.keislerauto.com/gm/gm-bare-transmissions/6-speed-manual/gm-t56-for-1983-92-camaro/firebird-street-rod-kit-car/shop.flypage_tabs.html
Release the break for a second then move into reverse. works every time on my 97.
yes but i would stay 125 shot or less to be safe.
Transmission lock pin either "Park" auto, or "reverse std. not aligned properly due to wear?
