Ok. I have the Motorola Rival, so this may not work on every Verizon Phone. Here are the steps that you have to do on a Motorola Rival to put your phone on Airplane Mode:
1. Go to Menu.
2. Go to Settings and Tools.
3. Go to Phone Settings.
4. The first setting on the list should be "Airplane Mode"
On my phone, just go to options, then settings, or settings, then options(I think options is first), here will probably be a button about airplane mode. Switch it to off, and... done! No more airplane mode until you turn it back on.
For iPod TOUCH 4G
Go into settings and at top of screen it says Airplane Mode, just side it to Off.
Settings - switch off airplane mode in the top left.
It has no airplane mode. Just turn off wifi.
I lost my internet but now it is back on. How do i take ipod touch off airplane mode and turn on wi-fii mode
Airplane mode is enabled in your settings. If airplane mode is not available on your first generation iPod (which it should be, since it is Wi-Fi enabled), then it would be best to turn your iPod off when airplane mode is needed.
Yes. For purposes of receiving calls and messages, being in airplane mode is the same as being turned off. Airplane mode lets you do only those things that do not involve the phone connecting with the phone or Internet systems.
No
Yes, you can. You can also turn off wireless if needed.
Go to settings. Click on settings and then you will see wifi and connectivity. Click on that and there will be an option for airplane mode. There, you will have the option of switching it on or off.
no, airplane mode cuts you off from service, and you need service to receive text messages.
press the Menu key, and then tap Settingsselect Wireless controls/Wireless & networksselect the Airplane/Flight mode check box to enable or disable Airplane mode.
Airplane mode?
Worst-case scenario would be to just shut it down and restart it. You might want to also go to the carrier to see if they can diagnose why touching the Airplane mode icon won't turn it off.
