With Verizon Wireless, a prepaid phone needs to be on a prepaid plan for at least 6 months before it can be moved to a postpaid plan.
No, you cannot use a Verizon prepaid sim card in a Droid Bionic Phone. You would not be able to activate it because VerizonÃ?s prepaid service does not support LTE.
Wireless prepaid cards can be purchased at various retailers, including Walmart, Target, Circle K. This is all dependent on the type of prepaid wireless phone you are using.
Ya u do unless you have minutes already on the phone but later down line you will need the prepaid minute card!
every body says no and Verizon wont use it as a prepaid but if you go to metro PC they will switch it for you but it being a smart phone you cant use the 'smart' capbilities like the mobile tv and the internet
Powered by America's largest wireless network, now 80 million strong, Versizon Wireless prepaid offers powerful prepaid services with perks like unlimited Mobile to Mobile calling, unlimited Weekends and low-priced anytime minutes and text messaging.
In short, yes. I'm sure it would depend on the individual store and the active wireless networks that work around that store when it comes to what kind of cards it sells though. For example, http://www.walgreens.com/store/c/walgreens-verizon-wireless-$15-prepaid-refill-card/ID=prod6061562-product is an example of Walgreens selling a Verizon prepaid card.
Verizon Wireless does not use SIM cards unless it is a world phone. Only carriers that use GSM technology use SIM cards. Verizon Wireless uses CDMA technology. Since the phone uses different wave lengths and different technology, this can not be done.
The G'zone does not have a SIM card, nor does any other Verizon Wireless phone.
For a cell phone to be unlocked, it means that the phone is able to use any SIM card from any phone network type. For example, a locked Verizon Wireless phone would be unable to accept and function with an AT&T SIM card, whilst an unlocked Verizon Wireless phone would be able to accept and function with an AT&T SIM card.
No. The only Verizon Wireless phones that use SIM cards are Global Phones. SIM cards are only used for the GSM technology. Verizon Wireless runs off of the CDMA technology. So... if you switch the SIM card, the phone still won't work because it has nothing to do with the CDMA and that's what Verizon Wireless works off of. HOWEVER, you can activate a Verizon Wireless phone on an existing account by dialing *228 pressing SEND then choosing option 3.
No Verizon Wireless phones can not because they have no Sim Card. Therefore there is no way to install the unlock on the cell phone.
