If you mean like a ring, you take the ball from between the two sides of the ring and set it somewhere safe. Then bend the hoop so it makes a spiral, then slide it in, bend it back, and put the ball back into place. Or if you're like me, which I don't recommend, drop the ball, lose it, and just bend the ring shut lol.

Take off the captive ball (of course) put one end in the piercing and gently roll it threw the piercing. It should go in just fine.

Hoops are just like any other stud jewelry. If you mean rings, the best way to learn is to search YouTube for how to use captive ball rings,segment rings, or seamless rings.
