my 2001 diamante radio wont turn on after i put the code in
whats number do i put in to unlock radio is it security code or radio code to unlock radio?
each time i want to play the car sterio of 1997 VOLVO S70 GLT It will ask of code. It will ask of a code. How do i put this code. the serial number is VO8170 V9179463B. You need to go to your Volvo dealership and they will do it for free. If you call them they will give you a code and tell you to keep your radio on for two hours than put that code in there but that does not work it is better to just go to the dealership they will do it for free and than they will give you the code in case it happens again.
You have to put the key in accessory 1 position for 2 hours and the code will show up on the display. Enter the code via the push-buttons below the display, your done.
radio says safe but cant put the code in

The Mitsubishi Eclipse radio code is the code that makes your radio work. You need to put this code in any time you disconnect the battery.
Yes. There are alot of good Volvos. But a Volvo from 1988 is not made to resive satellite radio, but FM-radio. That might be why you have some problems.
Zero
I had this problem several times and its a fail safe. If the battery or radio is disconnected the radio will need a code. Once the right code has been put in it should never ask you again unless you disconnect the battery again. You should be able to get the code from Peugeot.
Put your key into the ignition, turn it to the first position and leave it on that position for 2 hours, eventually the word CODE will come back. If you can;t find the radio code card, you can get the 4-5 digit code from the dealer for free, don't let them charge you! They need the radio serial number and your VIN #. If you bought the Volvo radio on eBay then just bring in the serial number and tell them the radio was not purchased with the car. The radio serial number is usually printed on a sticker on the top of the radio, there are two spring latches on the old radios that pop out for radio removal. I read another option for reseting the radio but did not try it, where you remove the fuse for the radio from the fuse box under the hood.
Try getting it from radiocodeking.co.uk/renault-radio-codes/ as they give codes for free. After you put your serial code, put this coupon code: freerenaultcode to make it free.
