First disconnect the battery then pull the driver side front tire off. just behind it is a plate that has 4 10mm bolts in it take those out and you are looking at your starter. The starter has 1 wire connected to the bottom of it unplug it, it also has a positive cable that runs from the battery disconnect it. Know there are 2 bolts that bolt to the bell housing remove these two and the starter comes out from the front. Hope this helped.
The Toyota 4 runner will not start, it sounds like it is going to and it will not, the starter, spark plugs are fine?
Should be the same as any 4 runner. Check my posts, I have answered it several times.
easiest is to take off the front wheel and do the job from there
Neither, it should stay the way that it is!! Final!!

Passenger side under the intake manifold... Follow the positive battery cable down to it.
The advantage of Toyota 4 runner is that it is suitable for any terrain and has a backup camera.
I can not unlock the doors to my 2003 Toyota 4-Runner with my fab. I put a new battery in my fab. What is wrong? Do I need to replace a fuse in my car? Thanks.
Starter Solenoid? Its on the starter itself. Right side of engine. Connects to the transmission. Usually seen thru the right tire wheel well.
when do you change timing chain on 2003 Toyota 4-runner?
