How do you replace the radiator in a 1991 Celica?

Park the car if you can on a bit of a slope so that the nose is pointing up a bit (this helps as when you refill the system you are less likely to have an air lock). Take off the rad cap, and unscrew the plastic bung from the bottom left corner of the rad (bottom left as in if you are looking under the bonnet down at the rad). Make sure you have a tray or bottle or something to catch all the coolant. Once the coolant is out disconnect the top and bottom hose to the rad, they are held on my a clip at each end. Unbolt the two brackets at the top of the rad and then you can lift the rad out. You may need to wiggle it a bit as it rests on two mounts. Then put the new rad back in, attatch the pipe and the brackets. Fill to the top with coolant. Run the engine with the rad cap off and refill the rad as the level goes down. Keep doing this until you cant get any more in. Once its full put the cap back on

How do you fix a coolant leak in 2001 corolla?

That depends on where the leak is coming from. If it's from a hose than replace the hose. If it would be from the rad, you could always apply silicone to the crack in the rad or purchase a new rad and have it installed.

Where is the coolant tank on 1989 jaguar xjs?

The rad. coolant tank is located on the driver's side fender area.

1990 mercury topaz and just put a new water pump and a thermostat in it you go only a couple of miles and it heats up losing all fluids what is causing this?

First, where is it losing all the coolant ? Is it losing the coolant in the engine, or on the outside of the engine ? You must establish this first. What was the problem before ? Is the coolant leaking from the out side, like near the water pump, or from the large tube that goes into the water pump from the rad. hose ? Is there a problem with the thermostat ? When you replaced the pump, and put in the O- ring, did you put some silicone on the O-ring to help it seal ? Is it leaking from there. Check all the hoses and clamps and the rad. Good luck.

How do you flush the coolant on a 1999 camaro?

When engine is cool, remove rad cap. put a large pan under the rad to catch fluid. open drain plug at bottom driver side of rad. open the bleed screws if equipped on the thermostat housing. after rad drains, move pan under engine, and remove drain plugs/knock sensors on both sides of block.remove resovoir and flush with clean water.(optional).place hose in rad neck and flush til clean water comes from all points. Installl plugs/knock sensors and any hoses removed.make sure to use proper coolant and coolant water mixture. close bleed screws when coolant leaking from them is free of air bubbles. keep a close eye on coolant level for the first few miles. level should be just above the HOT mark on the reservoir with the engine at normal operating temp.
