if you downloaded it from the playstation network, after it is done downloading go the game column in the XMB and scroll down until you see whatever game you downloaded, select it and select install to ps3.
Do you mean burned on disc PS1 games or downloaded into the PS3 harddrive
The PS3 must download games exclusively from the Playstation Store. Once downloaded they can not be downloaded from the PS3 harddrive thru the USB port. PSP games purchased at the Playstation Store can be stored on the PS3 and played on the PSP

No you can delete and download them again. I purchased a 320 GB PS3 and have it almost filled with purchases and free games from Playstation Plus, but was able to re download all the games from my earlier PS3 120 GB purchases Games can not be downloaded using your USB port in either direction
No you can't. PS Vita games can be downloaded and stored on the PS3, but you can not download the PS3 game on the Vita.
If you PS3 has an internet connection the only place that games are allowed to be downloaded from is the Playstation Store
