∙ 9y agoRemove the drivers side inside door panel. Remove the retaining clips from the window track. Place the new window in the window track and tighten the retaining clips.

∙ 9y agoYou will need to remove the inside door panel of your Chevrolet Blazer. Remove the window retaining clips. Put the window back into the window track. Tighten the window retaining clips.
Check window regulator for voltage and if your window is off track, buy a tube of flowable silicone and duct tape the window and see if the track will drop when lowering the window with the motor. If the track lowers. Silicone the tracks and unduct tape the window and slowly ease the window into the track, sometimes you want a screw driver outside the vehicle to hold the window in the direct path of the track. Once you get the window in the track, push down hard and allow the motor to bring the window to the top and allow to dry 24 hours.
If your driver's side window goes down halfway and gets stuck in a 1999 Chevy Suburban, the motor could be failing. It could also indicate the window is off the track.
You can put a manual rollup window back on track, in your 1994 Chevy Cavalier, by removing the inside door panel. The window track is easily visible with the door panel removed.
Generic Answer You need to remove the door trim. Then loosen the track, you should then be able to re locate the window into the track
it has fell off its track
Take door panel off. and put window back on track.
Remove the inside door panel. The entire window mechanism will be visible. Put the window back onto the window track.
Take the inside door panel off and you may find the forward window channel lower bolt loose or missing or the bracket cracked in half.
they sell variety packs at the parts store. When window has popped out, just snap a sucker on, you will see a hole or two at the edge of the glass. carefully slide it back in. hopefully the felt and track plastic is ok
That almost always means you need a new window regulator.
TAKE OFF THE DOOR PANEL STICK A A SCREW DRIVER IN ONE OF THE HOLES TO GET UP UNDER THE GLASS PUSH THE GLASS UP SLIGHTLY UNTILL YOU GET AHOLD OF THE GLASS THROUGH THE TOP OF YOUR DOOR U CAN THEN PULL UP ON THE GLASS TILLL YOU GET IT WHER U WANT IT U MAY HAVE TO DRILL A HOLE IN THE TRACK SO THAT THE WINDOW DOES NOT FALL BACK DOWN I DONT REMEMBER EXACTLY HOW IT LOOKS
