If it is charging on your computer than you can't but if in the wall than just put it in as normal, Maybe, I think when it is charging though, you can't do anything on your iPod. Unless you sync it or something. actually if its charging on the computer or the wall u can actually put in the passcode by unlocking it but if its on the computer and ur synicinc music in it then u cant
