On a 2003 Ford Expedition : The 2nd row seating would be a bench seat
1st- seat down 2nd- buckle seat belt.
No, they aren't. The second row are larger (same as front seats) and the posts are further apart.
if u r talking about 2nd row seats...pull tab 1 to lower top half of seat..pull tab 2 to disconnect seat from floor to allow someone to get into 3rd row seats..if u r talking about 3rd row seats there is a latch on the back of each seat pull up the latch and push down seat...onty if equipped to do this
I think it depend on the configuration of your Pacifica. If you have the 3rd row seat, I think it is under the luggage storage area. I have the 2nd seat row only and I have to fold down the 2nd row seats. There is a compartment in the storage area up against the backs of the second row seats (in down position). Lift up the door of that compartment and the jack should be in that compartment on the passanger side of the vehicle.
Do you want to REMOVE it entirely from the vehicle, or are you asking how to lay it down flat in order to make a longer rear deck floor?
If it's a Venture Van, first be sure you have the right seat in the right place- there is a diagram on the bottom rear mechanism part of the seats for where it should be in the van. Then rock the closed seat forward (with the seat all the way back on its track) until the hooks engage in the front slots, and once it's in place there, push the rear part of the seat down so it locks.

Flip the seat bottoms forward, should be a small strap or loop sticking up from the bench (where the bench and backrest meet), pull up on the strap. After flipping the bottom forward the backrests can be lowered by pulling the lever on the outer most part of the seat (near the door openings) forward, the headrests should automatically fold back as they go down.
