save your self the trouble. possible machining may be needed. so i recommend you go with remanfactured transaxle with a warranty. been their done that ended going with remanfactured parts. recommend service manual chilton 8271 for torque specs on end nut when reassemble. i own 1992 tempo gl for 4yrs. seen it all mentioned on this blog has happen to me already.
