Pull the seat forward as if you were folding the seat down. The headrest will unlock and pull down (same procedure to get the headreast up).
The Chevrolet Tahoe was produced from the years 1992 to present. The biggest size tire that can be put on a 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe LT are the 265/70 R17.
what type of motor is currently in the tahoe? a 5.7?
There's a little hole in the back of the plastic peice at the base of the headrest bar. Put in the lock to release it on both sides
Replacing a battery in a 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe is very easy to do. You will just need to take off the battery cables off the battery and put them to the side. Remove the old battery and replace with the new one. Put the cables back on the correct posts.
The headrest on the top of the back of the seat. That is why they put them there.
That year MUST have the 4L60E put back in it.
NO it will not. You MUST put a 1996 4L60E trans. back in the tahoe. No other year will interchange. The belhousing are different.
NOTHING WILL. It must have the 4L60E Put back in it.
On my jeep there is a button to push to go down on the left rod and one on the top of the headrest on the right side to make it go up but on the bottom right rod on the vinyl ring facing the rear window you can push it in and i believe that is the locking mechanism I push that in and the button on the bottom left and it released the headrest came right up...i'm sure you have to push that button back in when you want to put the back in as well. Hope that helps.
put in 5 quarts and then start it set the brake put it in neutral and check it with the vehicle running. I believe the capacity is 6 quarts but if your just changing the fluid then one quart is in the convertor and it stays in there.
YES The above answer is right. But the problem is that you will have to change the 97 computer, fuel pump, Engine and transmission wireing harness. You will also have to put the 700R4 transmission in that 97 Tahoe. Reason being is that the 91 computer that you HAVE to use won't shift the 4L60E that's in the Tahoe now. Your best bet is to put a VORTEC back in the Tahoe.
