These balls break so the motor free spins. You can replace them with steel ball bearings of the right size.. Manual windows. It's probably the guide that slide in the track to raise the window. Again, plastic and they break. They are available from Ford and possible parts supply house. Of course if they are power windows and the motor doesn't work it can be half a dozen things.
