Park the car on a level surface and wait 30 minutes after the engine has been shut off. Remove the dipstick and wipe it clean. Reinsert the dipstick all the way in and then remove it. Holding it horizontally check the oil level on the stick. The top mark is full and the bottom mark is low. Add just enough oil to reach the full mark. DO NOT OVERFILL
I used Valvoline VV155 MaxLife SAE 5w30 Motor Oil in my 1990 acura legend

Sounds like oil filter is the least of your problems
Remove the belt from your 1990 Acura Legend alternator. Remove the wiring harness from the back of the alternator. Remove the alternator retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new alternator.
The transmission filter is not in the pan like most other vehicles. On a 1990 acura legend it's an inline filter kinda looks like a fuel filter but located by the radiator.
