On Shark Tooth Island, the missing page from Professor Hammerhead's journal is on top of the ruins. Push the big rock to the right, climb the vine, and jump left onto the roof. (You will spell "open" by pushing the four symbols that match those letters, and then the nose.)
On Nabooti Island, at Giza, the translation is not required. The puzzles are all based on matching the symbols in order.

First go to shark tooth island and then go to the shark museum if you want to and look at p.hammerheads journal and you will notice that a page is torn off from it.Then talk to the guy who has got a fishing pole in booga bay and ask him ''do you know anything about hammerheads journal''.Then he willl say that he tore of a page from it and sold it to an archaelogist.After that you go to the ancient ruins and talk to the girl there.Then push the huge rock right below the coconut tree and then jump on that rock and watch out for falling coconuts.There will be a green rope right on top of you.Jump on that green rope and climb up until you see a platform.Go on that platform and jump on the other platform at the top and then jump as high as you can and you will reach the top of the ancient temple.Then go right and you will see a paper.Take that paper and go inside the ancient ruins and go to the place where you have to decipher the code.Type the symbols that spell open and click go left and you have reached the part 2 of the temple.
It's a matter of trading things. First go to the bridge which you'll find a lady standing on top of it. Go under the bridge and you'll find a coin. Take the coin to the General Store, that has almost everything out of stock, and trade the coin for some feed.
Go to a man, who can't afford to feed his family, and give him the feed, he'll have nothing to give you, but one of his chickens. Then go to a different man, to the right of the person you gave the feed to. He is having issues with pests eating his corn crops. Give him the chicken, which will eat the pests, he doesn't have much to give you, but the blue candle, which is good for your sake.
Go to the mansion, and give the man your blue light, which will uncover the invisible ink, therefore letting you read the other three quarters of the letter.
Now move on with your mission.
Well on Shark Tooth you actually have to find the a piece of paper and it has the translatating thing.

At the Governor's Mansion (far right), you use it to read the faded writing on an old parchment.
Once you have read the document for the governor, you can use the mirror to signal the raft. It will come ashore at Fort Ridley.

You have to get on the bed. there will be a book with morse code. use that to read the signals.
Take the blue candle and go right, to the governor's house. You can use the candle to read a faded document.
After you use the blue candle to read the docment at the governor's house, a raft will appear in the telescope on the tower. You can signal to it using the broken mirror found in the general store.

go right on to the computer. jump up and read the letter.
The Governor's house is on a hill at the far right of Fort Ridley island. Go there when you have the Blue Candle, so that you can read the parchment and begin the sailing quest.
