the new block has a two piece rear main seal and the oil dipstick is on the passenger side other than that yes reuse the crank and oil pan and everything else is interchangeable

Your transmission has gone into "limp" mode probably due to a error condition in the computer --- mine has done that and it was a faulty "speed sensor". Be happy -- it probably saved your transmission by catching it early.
