What does the efs.copyraw option do?

Found on the ScanState Syntax document at microsoft docs site."Causes the ScanState command to copy the files in the encrypted format. The files will be inaccessible on the destination computer until the EFS certificates are migrated. EFS certificates will be automatically migrated; however, by default USMT fails if an encrypted file is found, unless you specify an /efs option. Therefore you should specify the /efs:copyraw option with the ScanState command to migrate the encrypted file. Then, when you run the LoadState command, the encrypted file and the EFS certificate will be automatically migrated. For example:ScanState /i:migdocs.xml /i:migapp.xml \server\share\migration\mystore /efs:copyrawImportantAll files must be encrypted if the parent folder is encrypted. If the encryption attribute on a file inside an encrypted folder has been removed, the file will be encrypted during the migration using the credentials of the account used to run the LoadState tool. For more information, see Migrate EFS Files and Certificates."

How do you recover files from folder luck in Windows XP?

XP as such can not recover files from any folder if these files are deleted from the dustbin. There are however software available that can scan the index on the harddrive for deleted files and then recover these if they have not been overwritten. This software can in many cases also partially recover partially overwritten files. WinUndelete and Recovermyfiles are two choises. search via google. I am sure there exist many programs for this purpose, and some might even be free to use. Best of luck and regards.

Where are Napster music files stored in the new version 5?

This applies to Windows 7. The files are stored in the 'AppData/Roaming/com.Rhapsody.Napster5/Local Store' folder'. The AppData folder is a hidden folder within your main user folder. To access it, you have to go to Folder options (in the Control Panel or from any opened Windows folder) and unhide all hidden and system files. Within the 'Local Store' folder, is a folder with the same name as your Napster account name (usually your email address). The files are contained within, however they are not easy to access MP3 files which Napster used to use. There are brief sample flv files which which work with the VLC player. The actual songs appear to be stored as 'rienf' files which is some sort of coded file format that does not play with any player. Google, at the time of typing this does not provide any solutions to decoding this rienf file format.

Why does PictoDS give you an error that the file format is not supported?

In order to convert JPG files into CBDS files using PictoDS, simply adding JPG files and trying to "Proceed" to convert them is not going to work. What you can do, is:Compress all the JPG files you want to convert into one ZIP or RAR archive. Add this archive and then click "Proceed". The JPG files will be unzipped into the same folder the archive is contained and a CBDS file will be created in the folder you've set as PictoDS's "output folder".Add the folder containing the JPG files you want to convert. A CBDS file will be created in the folder set as PictoDS's "output folder".
