Prostitution is wrong and shameful; people who argue otherwise are stupid or act stupid. Prostitutes are looked down upon, yet men who resort to prostitution are not. Why is this? The person receiving the "service" is equally guilty of this disgusting and demoralizing act as is the prostitute herself. I believe both parties should be prosecuted by the law not just the prostitute herself. This is the only way to stop prostitution; sadly men will do it if they think they can get away with it. Let me rephrase that most men will. I am sure there is still a good hand full of self controlled and morally correct men in this world. A slap in the hand and a "tisk tisk" dont do that again will not cut it. Men seeking prostitutes should serve jail time and pay fines to the state for the demoralization of human values; as well as the prostitutes for conducting unethical business. At least here in the U.S we serve under Gods will and prostitution along with murder, and theft are all acts that speak against Gods will and therefore it would be justified to prosecute anyone involved in such behaviors.

Despite efforts to eradicate it, prostitution has the uncanny ability of adapting itself to any institutional system. Whether tolerated as a social evil or outlawed as an illegal act it has always managed to thrive in society.
