According to the owner's manual , a 2004 Ford Explorer's liftgate washer fluid is supplied by the reservoir tank for the front windshield - Helpfull
No , 1996 was the last model year that there was a separate washer fluid reservoir for the liftgate in the Ford Explorer
I have a 02 Explorer and the washer pump is on the windshield washer tank. So I would check there on your truck. Good luck.
the same reservoir as front
Both the front and rear washer systems use the same reservoir that is under the hood.
The washer circuit for a 2004 Optima is on the same circuit as the wiper......a 20 amp fuse inside the passenger compartment.
There is none. The reservoir feeds both the windshield and rear window washer via separate pumps.
how's anyone gonna know that? I don't even know!!!!!!
There is no separate rear window washer reservoir. All the sprayers draw fluid from the same under-hood reservoir. The rear window fluid is piped to the back via tubing. All washers use the same under-hood pump also. It is a two stage pump (i.e.: one pump feeds the windshield and the other pump feeds the rear hatch). Unfortunately, they are housed in the same unit and when one part of the pump fails the entire unit must be replaced.
1.5 LBS will refill it
It share the tank with the front window. It is under the hood just above the tire on the passenger side.
The 2004 Avalanche 1500 (with the 4L60E transmission) has a refill capacity of 5.0 quarts. The 2004 Avalanche 2500 (4L80E transmission) has a refill capacity of 7.7 quarts.
There isn't a relay, The fuse is under the hood #6 a 60a fuse and #62 is a 30amp circuitbreaker.
