Trust is something hard to regain in a relationship. It depends on the situtation, did you hurt him? If so maybe that's why he is being "difficult". It takes time and patience to regain trust in someone that has a reason not to trust you. But in time this trust will build. Yet if you say "difficult" in he's the one that just can't trust you and you've done nothing to have him not trust you, then he has issues with the trust factor, that needs addressed. maybe someone else has hurt him and he is withdrawing himself from you and hasn't learn to trust? Trust is something that is hard to deal with because once someone has lost that trust with you, it's always on your mind. So it takes both of you to work on this, Just keep reasuring him and see what happens through time.
