If you're laying underneath the car to drain the oil, then you can see it clearly at the front of the engine just between the front tires. I just use an oil filter wrench (available at any auto parts store or Wal-Mart for a nominal fee) to twist it loose. Fram also makes oil filters with a special textured coating that allows you to twist it on and off by hand with relative ease. Fram oil filter part number PH2870A.

I can't find it either. I checked just under the windshield on the pasenger side. There is an air intake but no filter. My AC/heat blows stinky air. Smells like a mildewed filter. I also looked behind the glove box.
