First off remove the steering wheel and column. This makes for extra space you are sure to need.
Then start removing all screws from around the instrument cluster. there are quite a few all around the dash and some underneath the dash.
Don't forget to remove the ashtray (69 for sure) as there are two screws just above the ashtray that need to be removed too.
After you have unscrewed all screws, carefully wiggle the instrument panel clear of the dash. Be carefull not to break anything and disconnect the air hoses that run from behind the instrument panel.
then slowly remove the instrument panel and make sure to write down exactly which plug plugs into which part of the instruments.
After that you can access the screws behind the instrument panel to remove the dash pad and so on.
