All (mostly) applications in Mac OS X are plain folders located in user's Applications or global Applications folder. To remove application just drag it from Applications folder to Trash bin. This is gonna remove application files, but other files might be left on the system (small ones), like your preferences, other cache files. In order to remove those you have to locate them manually (not recommended for regular users) or use other applications (like AppZapper (shareware)) for finding all application related files.
Have you loooked in ALL PROGRAMS in yoour PC ? You should be able to find LIMEWIRE there and it should be called LIMEWIRE. Also try going to add/remove programs

Just uninstall it from your machine. Start / settings / control panel / add remove programs / limewire - remove
If you don't want Limewire, then don't download it. If you want to uninstall Limewire, go to start -> programs-> limewire -> uninstall. Or go to Start-> Control Panel -> Add or Remove Programs-> click on Limewire -> click uninstall or change.
If you have a new macbook pro with the metal body case, no. If you have an older macbook pro, you can use a coin to turn the lock on the bottom of the laptop to remove the battery.
Yes, it is pretty easy to do. Just uninstall it, then go to your documents and delete the "limewire" folder. If you want no remnants at all of it on your computer, go to your temporary files and delete anything that says limewire in it.
Go into your firewall and choose to allow the program
get rid of limewire its a virus-like program. seriously, get your p2p somewhere else. remove all traces of it from your system.
FrostWire and LimeWire store music in your documents folder, or whatever folder you specify. Uninstalling / deleting them does not remove the files you downloaded.
Why not try using Daniusoft media Converter Pro to remove iTunes DRM protection and convert iTunes to limewire?
Well yes you are safe from the law, but your not exactly. Unless you remove all downloaded content from limewire then technically you are still breaking the law by having illegal copies of media. Also if you have imported and music or files from limewire into another program, I suggest you get rid of these files as a little box will appear from limewire saying that some files are corrupt, although they are not, because limewire is not there. If these files are not deleted then limewire will corrupt your whole system as I found out last year. I ended up having to re-format. The safest thign to do is remove limewire and all file downloaded by it, no matter what program they're in.
Use a different media down loader at the moment.
