Flip open the cover and remove the two bolts securing the wiper arm. They are 12mm and 7/8 inch. Remove the inside hatch panel by removing four screws and working the panel loose. Unplug the wiring harness from the motor and remove it with a Philips head screwdriver. Replace the interior panel.

Remove the rear wiper arm. Remove the rear inside door panel. Unplug wiring and Remove 3 or 4 bolts holding the wiper motor in place. That's it. You will end up with a hole on the rear hatch door outside panel due to removing the motor. Cover it or shave it off so no water gets in there.

If the rear window is not fully closed the rear wiper will not operate.
Remove the rear wiper arm from the wiper motor. Remove the wiring harness from the wiper motor. Remove the wiper motor retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new wiper motor.
