The alternator in a 2000 Jaguar is a tight fit. You will have to remove the motor mount, oil filter, and filter adapter, then jack the engine up slightly to have clearance to remove the alternator.
Just did one on a 2000 which is the same thing. You have to use an impact wrench with enough torque to take it out.
The 2000 Mercedes-Benz E3 20 crankshaft position in sensor is located on the back of the crankshaft. You will need to remove the rear engine cover in order to see the sensor.
You will have to remove starter, It is behind the starter in the block.
Remove the drive belts, crankshaft pulley, and timing covers. Align the timing marks on the camshaft and crankshaft and r+r the belt

remove the trunk floor and the battery is on the right next to the spare tire.
opel omega crankshaft sensor is located next tp the oil filter atached with a star shaped screw, to remove it you have to remove the oil filter first. or the muffler.
2000 s-type jaguar
It is behind the atarter in the side of the engine block. Must remove starter to get to it.
24x crankshaft position sensor--remove drive belt, raise vehicle up in front ( car ramps etc. ) remove the crankshaft pulley, remove the bolt and sensor wiring harness retaining bracket. remove the 24x crank sensor mounting bolts, remove the sensor and withdraw the wiring harness. for 3.1 V6 the 2.2 has a 7x position sensor. good-day !
