Replace
Drain the coolant, remove belt, remove two bolts & water pump. Clean the sealing surfaces. Reinstall in reverse order
use a ratchet to pull be on the belt tensioner to loosen slack then remove the belt
You have to remove the serpentine belt and drivebelt accessories then the passenger side engine mount, remove the timing cover, remove the timing belt, and the crankshaft sprocket to access the seal. It's about a day and a half of work.
2.4L belt, 3.0L belt, 3.3L chain, 3.8L chain.
