1. get a manual because you will need it.
2. disconnect the battery.
3. disconnect the fuel lines.
4. disconnect the cooling system.
5. remove the exhaust system (makes more room and things more accessible.)
6. locate motor and transmission mounts.
7. remove the intake system so that you can bolt the cherry picker to the maniford.
8. take photos of things so you have a real life example of the way that things were under YOUR hood.

That requires a power steering pulley PULLER. Some parts stores will lone are rent it to you. It also requires a special tool to press it back on.
just remove the battery cable for about 5min then put it back. that should reset the check engine light.
