To remove a factory CD player from a 2000 Honda CR-V first inspect the center console of your vehicle. There should be several mounting screws holds the CD player. Remove them and proceed to slide the unit out of the center console. Lastly remove the wiring clip behind the radio.

I don't know about a 2000 vito but the new ones have a fuse on the back of the radio. You have to remove the radio to get to it.

There are two Philips screws underneath down by the cubby hole then the whole piece comes off then four more screws in plain sight when this is removed pull radio out unhook wire harness' and antenna unscrew radio from metal housing and presto your done.
