To remove an ignition switch from this car start by disconnecting the battery ground strap and taking off the steering wheel. The nut that holds it on is under the BMW emblem in the center. Mark the stud that and the steering wheel next to it so it will be easy to realign during installation. To take the steering wheel off the key must be in the run ( unlocked ) position. Next remove the steering column covers by unscrewing the four screws accessible from below it. Carefully remove the lower then upper plastic covers. Be extra careful getting the upper cover off the locking cylinder. The ignition switch is directly opposite the locking cylinder facing to the left of the car. Use a small flat head screw driver to pry the plastic tabs holding it on open then pull off the switch. Unplug the wire connector and plug the new connector from your new switch. Push the new switch on and reinstall all the parts in reverse order.
Remove the decorative cover to the window switch panel. Remove the window switch retaining screws. Remove the wiring harness from the back of the window switch. Reverse the process to install the new window switch.

Maybe your steering wheel it's keeping the ignition cylinder to turn, so move the steering wheel and at the same time try to turn the key. Maybe you need to replace the ignition cylinder key lock
Then you have a corroded or loose cable connections or possibly a defective starter. Another possibility is a defective ignition switch. I am assuming the engine will not turn over.

How can I take out the key from the ignition key in a BMW 325i 2001. I can turn on the engine but the key doesn't come out when I turn off.

The 2003 BMW 325i uses a coil-over-plug system, so the spark plugs are connected directly to the coils, deep in the cylinder head. To get to the spark plugs: # Remove sound reduction or ignition coil covers as needed # Open control box cover # Disconnect ignition coil electrical connector by lifting up plug lock # Remove ignition coil by pulling straight up # Use the necessary tools to remove the spark plugs There are six plugs, and the factory plugs that come with the car are most likely the NGK BKR6EQUP (laser platinum, 4-ground electrode) ... or if it's not the platinum version, the BKR6EKUB (a dual-ground electrode, semi-surface discharge type).
