everyone says it's very fiddly. replacement costs 200+200 labour
it is located on the inlet manifold below throttle body you need to remove manifold and remove sensor from underside
On the 12 valve engine it is positioned underneath the inlet manifold at the gearbox end to replace I found it easier to remove the inlet manifold after wasting time trying to do it with the manifold in place.
DO NOT REMOVE WHOLE MANIFOLD UNLESS YOU REALLY HAVE TO, IS IT LEAKING ABOVE THE ALTERNATOR? if so just needs a simple repair plate.
this is a mechanics job you have to remove inlet manifold,exhaust manifolds,and then remove heads to replace the valves
Its near firewall. Have to remove exhaust manifold,Inlet housing to waterpump,and block.

hi there you have to remove the top engine mount and inlet manifold about 15 bolts its a bit potchy to get out and then you can get at the heater plugs
2 ways easiest is too remove inlet manifold other is too remove engine 3 ltrs only
Under th inlet manifold, you will need to remove the alternator to gain access
Remove inlet manifold is a must. Pig of a job for what it is just done mine.
Hi You'll have to go trough a hell of an operation. To begin with: remove wiper arm and wipermotor, then loosen and rotate alternatorbracket. remove inlet manifold. do remember to have a new gasket for the manifold.
